UFC PRESIDENT DANA White has confirmed that middleweight champion Luke Rockhold will make his first title defence against Chris Weidman.
Rockhold (15-2 MMA, 4-1 UFC) claimed the belt and handed Weidman (13-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC) a first professional defeat at UFC 194 back in December via fourth-round TKO.

Rockhold (15-2 MMA, 4-1 UFC) claimed the belt and handed Weidman (13-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC) a first professional defeat at UFC 194 back in December via fourth-round TKO.
An immediate re-match has been mooted in recent weeks and White revealed on Fox Sports 1′s Garbage Time with Katie Nolan that the bout will take place at UFC 199 in June, although an exact date wasn’t given.
