Ireland's Chris Forrester can look forward to glamour FA Cup tie with Chelsea next month

The 24-year-old Dubliner impressed in last season’s tournament and will be hoping for more of the same at Stamford Bridge.

EARLIER THIS YEAR, former St. Patrick’s Athletic midfielder Chris Forrester stepped out for Peterborough in an FA Cup clash with West Brom and made a huge impression.

Perhaps lightning is about to strike twice.

Posh got the better of Notts County in their Cup clash this evening and the 2-0 win assures them of a high-profile 3rd Round meeting with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge next month.

It gives the 24-year-old Dubliner another opportunity to deliver on a big stage.

He enjoyed a magnificent debut season and, in the summer, he was made the club’s skipper and committed to a long-term deal.

Already this term he’s scored three times and the side currently sit in sixth place in League One.
