CHRIS ASHTON MUST take full responsibility for his ban that will see him miss the entire Six Nations, says England coach Eddie Jones.
The winger was hit with a 10-week suspension after being found guilty of making contact with the eyes of Ulster centre Luke Marshall.
Barring a judicial reprieve, Ashton will be sidelined until March 28, meaning he will miss England’s entire Six Nations campaign.

The 28-year-old had just earned his first England call-up in 18 months, and Jones says he must take full responsibility for his actions that led to the ban.
“I am disappointed for him. He’s got to take responsibility for it,” Jones said.
“Is the suspension too hard? No. That’s the suspension he’s got. So he’s got to sit it out or appeal.
“Obviously he’s going to miss the Six Nations unless he appeals and wins the appeal.
“It’s terrible luck for Chris, but he’s been punished.
“He’s been one of the form players in the Premiership so this is very disappointing for him and a setback for the team. But we move on.”
England’s opening Six Nations game is against Scotland at Murrayfield in just over a fortnight.
