Cheltenham cancel booking after photos emerge of footballers allegedly urinating in a pint glass

The racecourse confirmed the news today.

CHELTENHAM RACECOURSE HAS cancelled a group booking involving former Aston Villa midfielder Samir Carruthers after images emerged allegedly showing him urinating into a pint glass on the first day of the festival.

The former Republic of Ireland U21 and current MK Dons player was one of a group of players photographed by The Sun appearing to relieve themselves before a glass of liquid was poured over the balcony they were standing on.

The racecourse has now moved to block them from attending todayโ€™s racing in a tweet issued this morning.

His club has launched an investigation into the pictures and said that while Carruthers was involved, neither he nor any other MK Dons player threw the liquid over the balcony.

In a statement, MK Dons said:

The club is aware of pictures circulating in the national media of one of its players at the Cheltenham Festival. The club has commenced an internal investigation into the matter.โ€

Actually if you asked Fla face to face what he thought of Thompson as a person his reaction would be very different. What players say and do on a rugby pitch doesnโ€™t always accurately represent who they are off the pitch.

Could not agree more, Thompson top class player and a true gent. Well respected in rugby circles.

That step was brilliant. Typical fat front row maneuver. This is probably the only time Iโ€™ve seen it work though.

If memory serves, he did something very similar off a lineout in his last game against Ireland. Great story for a guy who looked like it was all over for too young.

Aussie winger will have to have his wingers licence revoked. Stepped and burned on the outside by a fat hooker. For shame.
