Chelsea started brilliantly before being pegged back at the Bridge

The sides are facing-off in today’s lunchtime kick-off.

IT TOOK JUST four minutes for Chelsea to make a firm statement of intent against Liverpool in today’s lunchtime kick-off.

Ramires – fresh from signing a new contract – popped up in the area to send a downward header past Simon Mignolet following Cesar Azpilicueta’s deflected cross.

Many have tipped Jose Mourinho to lose his job should his side suffer defeat today but what it start it was for them.

Still, Liverpool were the better side during the opening period and deep in injury time at the end of the half, Philippe Coutinho brilliantly slipped around Ramires on the edge of the area before curling a superb left-footed strike to the far corner for the equaliser.
