AFTER PEDRO’S MOVE from Barcelona to Chelsea was confirmed today, the fallout from a Man United perspective is already in full swing.
Here are seven people being blamed in various quarters for the Red Devils’ failure to land the 28-year-old World Cup winner.
1. Cesc Fabregas’ girlfriend
(Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas and girlfriend Daniella Semaan are believed to have played a part in Pedro’s decision to move to London)
Fabregas’s partner, Daniella Semaan, is close friends with Pedro’s wife, Carolina Martin, and is understood to have helped persuade the star to move to Chelsea.
2. Cesc Fabregas
Cesc Fabregas is also believed to have been a big part in the negotiating process that eventually brought Pedro to London. The duo are friends from their time together with both Spain and Barcelona, and Fabregas reportedly offered the attacker assurances about moving to London.
3. Victor Valdes
It’s being reported that Pedro was put off from moving to Man United by the supposedly ‘unfair’ way his former teammate Victor Valdes was treated by the club.
4. Louis van Gaal
Man United claim Louis van Gaal ultimately went cold on the idea of the club buying Pedro, while the 28-year-old is also understood to have had reservations about working with the Dutch coach and in particular, he was supposedly wary about Van Gaal’s difficult reputation and heavy-handed treatment of players.
5. Ed Woodward
Man Utd’s executive vice-chairman has been criticised along with the rest of the negotiating team for their apparent slovenly negotiations, which ultimately allowed Chelsea time to come in and make a late bid. Woodward — who reportedly flew out to Spain earlier in the week in an attempt to seal the deal — was heavily criticised during the David Moyes era for failing to sign enough big-name players, and he could come under more pressure if United fail to land anyone else before the transfer window closes.
6. Jose Mourinho
The Chelsea boss is understood to have made a personal call to Pedro in order to persuade the star to choose a move to Chelsea over Man United.
7. Pedro
Let’s face it, despite all the rumours of various people influencing him, Pedro was ultimately responsible for the decision to join Chelsea. Perhaps he simply considered Chelsea to be a club with better prospects and decided to join them instead of United, effectively ignoring all other factors.
Harry Kane coming in couldn’t have helped
Jes*s lads I really hope none of you or your families suffer from depression or are affected by suicide, if thats the way you go on you won’t be getting much help from around you.
Regardless of money or status depression will get you and many many incredibly successful people have committed suicide when the darkness gets too much.
Not a time nor a place for idiot comments like above.
The very first comment I have ever agreed with you on.
As Rio found out…money can only go so far.Felt heart broken for him ans his kids.
So be happy if you are lucky enough to have your close loved ones healthy and happy.
Mental health has an unhealthy stigma attached to it. If you cannot see it…it does not exist…
Thanks James ;)
Probably after a transfer to another family.
What a gowl, wanted to commit suicide over “problems” like that, go see a doc!!! Could do with considering what other poor people are going through, real problems!!!!
Now or never.
Because having money solves all…doesn’t it?
Rich have no problems…go see a Doc. All solved.
Shocking.
What is a little problem to someone maybe a big one to some one else. No one knows the inner workings of another ones mind.
All these boys with their comments are so brave hiding behind fake names!!
Adebayor……. Adebayor….

He didn’t even get it right. Having spent a lot of time hating him I’m actually starting to feel sorry for him. Adebayor that is, not this other idiot.
