DONALD ‘COWBOY’ CERRONE is currently engaged in a war of words with UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos.
The duo, who are expected to square off in the next 155lbs title bout, have been trading insults on Twitter, mostly related to accusations of performance-enhancing drug use.

Cerrone was a guest on the latest episode of Chael Sonnen’s ‘You’re Welcome’ podcast and — as is the case with almost every MMA conversation these days — Conor McGregor was one of the topics.
Cerrone and McGregor are currently competing in different divisions — McGregor at featherweight (145lbs), Cerrone at lightweight (155lbs) — but the Irish star has often spoken of his intention to move up a weight class so an eventual meeting of the popular pair isn’t unlikely.
“Conor’s just good at fucking talking shit,” said Cerrone. “If I was to fight Conor and he gets on public TV and talks shit, that wouldn’t fly with me. At the first opportunity of seeing him I’d check him.
“We might be crossing paths but who the fuck knows? I’d welcome that. Hopefully he talks shit and I slap the shit out of him; pump the pay-per-views up and I make four million dollars.”
