CELTIC WERE KNOCKED out of the Uefa Youth League this evening after losing on penalties to Valencia in Glasgow.
But who knows what would’ve happened if the match referee – Craig Pawson – wasn’t so blatantly conned by a Spanish defender.
With the game tied at 1-1 and penalties on the horizon (there’s no extra-time), Celtic had a chance to win it when David Pasqual got himself in some trouble trying to clear a routine ball.
He did have an idea though – throw himself on the ground and pretend to have been fouled. So, he did.

Jack Aitchison was quick to pounce and raced into the penalty area, lining up a shot. But just as he pulled the trigger, the whistle went and play was brought back for a Valencia free-kick.
