They’ll take on Kilkenny’s Carrickshock in the decider with Richie Power putting his injury travails behind him to start in their 0-18 to 1-9 semi-final success over London’s Robert Emmett’s in O’Moore Park in Portlaoise.
Carrickshock laid the foundations for their victory in the first half as they went in front 0-13 to 0-1 at the interval while Robert Emmetts were reduced to 13 men by the interval.
The London champions did cut the gap in the second half but Carrickshock had top scorer Kevin Farrell, John Butler, Damien Walsh and Richie Power all chipping in with points.
Carrickshock will now hope to make amends for their defeat in the very first All-Ireland intermediate club final back in 2003 against Tipperary’s Kiladangan.
