TYRONE FOOTBALL FANS will descend on Croke Park tomorrow for their All-Ireland football quarter-final but one club in the county has a piece of headquarters in their own grounds.
In 2007 the Nally Stand was officially reopened at Páirc Colmcille, the home of Carrickmore GAA club.

After being initially dismantled, it was carefully pieced back together from the rubble of Croke Park.
The story is explored tonight on RTÉ’s Thank GAA It’s Friday at 8.30pm with Tyrone football legend Conor Gormley – a Carrickmore man – and Arthur McCallan – the club chairman at the time – both interviewed.
“We have the only piece of history of this nature belonging to Croke Park in the world,” remarks McCallan.
