Eric Cantona pledges to swim the English Channel if you say French beer is best

WHEN HE’S NOT starring in the odd low budget film, Eric Cantona has been happy to pick up the occasion pay cheque endorsing French beer Kronenbourg.

As part of their latest ad campaign, the legendary ex-Manchester United striker has vowed to swim the English Channel, from his homeland to Britain, if “you agree that Kronenbourg is the supreme tasting beer in the world”.

He’s looking for 10,000 people to show their support before he commits to undertake the challenge.
