All-Ireland semi-final draw confirmed and set for Semple Stadium double-header

Cork face Tipperary while Kilkenny and Galway go head-to-head on 18 August.

REIGNING ALL-IRELAND champions Cork will face Munster counterparts Tipperary while Kilkenny and Galway will go head-to-head in this yearโ€™s All-Ireland senior camogie semi-finals.

The draw for the last four double-header, which is fixed for Semple Stadium on 18 August, took place after todayโ€™s two quarter-finals at Pรกirc Uรญ Chaoimh. 

Tipperary and Galway both came out on top in their respective clashes, and are now set to lock horns with the โ€˜big twoโ€™ as they qualified directly for the semi-finals as group winners.

The meeting of Kilkenny and Galway is a repeat of this yearโ€™s league semi-final in which the Cats progressed while Cork and Tipperaryโ€™s clash is a rematch of this yearโ€™s Munster final.

The first of the two semi-finals will throw in at 5.30pm in two weeks time, with the second fixed for 19.15pm. Both will be shown live on RTร‰.

    Must have been hard to find a Leitrim man to put in there. Surely time to look @ a 2 tiered championship.
