JUVENTUS LEGEND GIANLUIGI Buffon has signed a new contract that will see him play on past his 40th birthday.
Buffon, who won his seventh Serie A title with the Turin giants this season, agreed a two-year extension that will run until the end of the 2018 season.
The veteran keeper, who turned 38 in January, also broke a 20-year-old record when he went 974 minutes without conceding a goal.
Veteran defender Andrea Barzagli, 35, has also signed an extension until 2018.

Still the best keeper in the world at 40.
Would like to have seen him return to Parma before he retired.
