IT’S BEEN A good week for Sale Sharks in terms of recruitment for next season.
On Tuesday the Aviva Premiership club announced the signing of ex-Ireland scrum-half Peter Stringer, who’ll join them for the 2015/16 campaign after two-and-a-half years with Bath.
Stringer will now be joined at Sale by Bryn Evans, the former All Blacks lock who has spent the past season with Biarritz.
Evans will be returning for a second spell in the Premiership, having had a three-year stint with London Irish before he departed for France last summer.

The 30-year-old was capped twice by New Zealand in 2009 and has represented both the Blues and the Hurricanes in the Super 15.
“Bryn is a great signing for us and will, I am sure, play a major part in our line-out next season,” said Steve Diamond, Sale Sharks’ Director of Rugby.
