DUBLIN GAA HAVE announced the appointment of Bryan Cullen as the county’s High Performance Manager.
Cullen, who retired from inter-county football last year, captained the Dubs when they ended their 16-year wait for an All-Ireland senior football title in 2011. The Skerries Harps clubman picked up another All-Ireland medal in 2013.
The 31-year-old joins Dublin GAA having spent four years working as a strength and conditioning coach with Leinster Rugby. He also recently completed his PhD in Exercise Physiology at Dublin City University.

According to a Dublin GAA statement, Cullen “will be entrusted with developing a long-term player pathway from juvenile to senior level for the county’s players, as well as taking a lead role in the strength and conditioning of all our inter-county teams”.
The nine-time Leinster championship winner is due to begin his new role in the coming weeks.
