Once again, it will be Brady v Manning for the AFC Championship

The Broncos clinched home field advantage with a 23-16 win against the Steelers.

TOM BRADY AND Peyton Manning will renew one of the NFL’s most celebrated quarterback rivalries in the AFC Championship game next Sunday.

Manning and the Denver Broncos clinched home field advantage for the conference decider with a 23-16 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

They will face Brady’s New England Patriots after the reigning Super Bowl champions successfully negotiated their own divisional round game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday.

Brandon McManus kicked five field goals for Denver, and CJ Anderson ran in the decisive touchdown score from one yard with 3:25 remaining.

The Steelers took an early 7-3 lead through a Fitzgerald Toussaint touchdown run, but cruelly, it was Toussaint’s fourth-quarter fumble which handed the ball to Manning and the Broncos’ offence for their game-winning drive.

Sunday’s game will be the fourth AFC Championship game between Brady and Manning, and the 17th meeting overall between the iconic quarterbacks.

The Carolina Panthers will host the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC Championship game.
