Irish rugby legend to star in ITV's Rugby World Cup coverage

Big news for those of you with the multichannel.

BRIAN O’DRISCOLL IS heading to the Rugby World Cup after all.

The former Ireland and Lions skipper has been named as part of the team that will head up ITV’s coverage of the tournament later in the year.

O’Driscoll will be joined by former tournament winners Jonny Wilkinson, Lawrence Dallaglio and Jason Robinson as well as the head coach who led them to that 2003 victory, Clive Woodward.

George Gregan who captained Australia in ’03 and won the World Cup in 1999, will also join former Wales star Gareth Thomas. John Inverdale will present the station’s coverage.
