SOME OF THE most enjoyable segments of BT Sport’s rugby coverage are the technical analyses and demos they carry out on various parts of the game.

This week they tackled the final refereeing decision made by Jerome Garces during Leinster’s 18-15 Champions Cup quarter final win over Bath, one which visiting coach Mike Ford disagreed with.

An animated Brian O’Driscoll and former England back row Lawrence Dallaglio explained their reading of the penalty situation and also underlined the importance of presenting good pictures to referees.
