BRIAN O’DRISCOLL THINKS New Zealand are likely to win a second consecutive World Cup in England later this year.
The legendary Ireland centre may have retired but he will be there as part of ITV’s punditry panel for the tournament, which runs from 18 September to 31 October.
And while BOD has backed the All Blacks to triumph, he believes Joe Schmidt’s men could make it all the way to the final after recently clinching the Six Nations championship.
“I’m going to go with New Zealand because they got the monkey off the back from winning in 2011, maybe them to beat Ireland in final,” he said in an interview with Bloomberg.

England, Ireland, France and Wales “have capabilities of absolutely getting to semi-finals and finals so if you can do that, you’re in the mix to win it”, according to O’Driscoll, who added: “It’s definitely still open.”
