BRIAN MOORE IS celebrating today after picking up a big win last night at Bellator 177.

Moore took his professional mixed martial arts record to 10-5 thanks to a second-round TKO victory over Czech featherweight Michal Horejsi (5-3) in Budapest, Hungary.

Competing on the preliminary portion of a card that was headlined by a win for bantamweight champion Eduardo Dantas against Leandro Higo, Moore bounced back from a defeat to Daniel Weichel in his Bellator debut in December.

Afterwards, the 29-year-old Wexford native — who fights out of Straight Blast Gym in Dublin — took to social media and called for a spot on Bellator’s Madison Square Garden card on 24 June, which is already set to feature his SBG team-mate James Gallagher.

While Moore has already competed for leading European promotions such as Cage Warriors and BAMMA, a stoppage win under the Bellator banner marks the most significant win of his career so far.
