FORMER TIPPERARY GOALKEEPER Brendan Cummins and Kilkenny’s Hurler of the Year Richie Hogan enjoyed the screening of TV3′s The Toughest Trade last night. Cummins was filmed banging a baseball into the Nowlan Stand stratosphere and All Star baseball player Brian Schneider was impressed.
“That’s far man!” Schneider drooled as Cummins used a baseball bat to let fly with one of his trademark long pucks. Cummins smiled: “I’ll tell ya one thing! Tis many’s the day below in Nowlan Park when I playing Kilkenny I wanted to have this in my hand! Come in here Richie Hogan ’till I have a chat with ya!”
But Hogan was quick off the mark with a classic comeback, which Cummins retweeted on his own Twitter page. Have a look at the video here:
