A YOUNG AUSTRALIAN boxer who collapsed following a fight on Saturday night has died in hospital.
Braydon Smith, 23, fought against John Moralde in Toowoomba but collapsed around 90 minutes after losing on a unanimous points decision.

He was placed in an induced coma in a Brisbane hospital but died on Monday afternoon, a family friend confirmed.
“I know it’s a bit of a cliché at times like these to say he had the world at his feet but, you know, Braydon did have the world at his feet,” James O’Shea told the Chronicle.
“Not just in boxing, but in life.
Smith, nicknamed “The Great White”, turned professional in 2011 and had an unbeaten 12-0 record prior to the WBC Asian Continental featherweight title fight against Moralde.
Smith was also studying his final year of law at the University of Southern Queensland.
