With Joel Matip out injured, Lucas Leiva is at centre-half for Liverpool.

Bournemouth have never beaten Liverpool. The corresponding fixture last season finished 2-1 to Jurgen Klopp’s men, while the game at Anfield ended 1-0 to the hosts.

Before kick-off, a minute’s silence in respect of this week’s Chapecoense tragedy in Brazil.

And we’re off…

No early chances to report just yet. Could be a tricky first half for Bournemouth goalkeeper Artur Boruc with the sun in his eyes.

Nice work by Milner wide on the left for Liverpool but it comes to nothing.

Milner does well again out wide but his cross is headed clear by Steve Cook.

Liverpool settling now and starting to take control.

Chance! Great low ball in from the right by Clyne but somehow Origi misses a sitter.

Henderson’s corner finds Lucas but his header goes off target with a deflection. Another corner is turned behind by Bournemouth, and then another one, before the hosts finally clear at the fourth time of asking.

Bournemouth clear a fifth Liverpool corner of the game, then the visitors try a short free-kick routine from out on the left which they make a mess of.

Bournemouth struggling to get out of their own half at the moment.

Goal! Bournemouth 0 Liverpool 1 (Sadio Mane, 20)

Beautiful ball by Emre Can finds Mane through the middle, he beats Ake for pace and then pokes home past Boruc for his seventh goal of the season to give Liverpool a deserved lead.

Goal! Bournemouth 0 Liverpool 2 (Divock Origi, 22)

Harry Arter lost possession deep inside Liverpool’s half and Bournemouth were caught on the break. Henderson found the on-rushing Origi, Boruc came out to close him down but the Belgian striker beat him to it before applying a brilliant finish to an empty net from wide on the right.

Almost a half an hour gone and Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius has had nothing to do yet.

Sniff of a chance for Bournemouth but Joshua King gives the ball away cheaply in the Liverpool box.

Stanislas and King combine well to earn Bournemouth a corner, Ake then goes down in the box under a challenge from Firmino but no penalty is given.

From a short free-kick, Can then plays the ball into the danger zone for Liverpool but it’s cleared.

The last 10 minutes or so have been better for Bournemouth but they haven’t been able to test Karius and reduce the deficit as the break approaches.

“Impressive. Really impressive,” is Alan Smith’s assessment of Liverpool on Sky Sports.

Penalty! Fraser makes an immediate impact. He goes down under a Milner challenge and referee Madley points to the spot.

Goal! Bournemouth 1 Liverpool 2 (Callum Wilson pen, 56)

The home side are back in the game as Wilson sends Karius the wrong way. Jurgen Klopp is not happy on the touchline.

Fraser threatening again as he runs at the Liverpool defence but Wilson squanders possession after taking a pass on the edge of the box.

Clyne has a shot for Liverpool from distance but it’s well off target.

Goal! Bournemouth 1 Liverpool 3 (Emre Can, 64)

Absolutely magnificent from the German international. Good work from Mane on the right tees him up on the edge of the box and, first time, he curls a beauty into the top corner. Sublime strike.

What a chance for Bournemouth! Afobe gets in behind the Liverpool defence but Karius makes a crucial save.

Henderson crosses for Origi but Fraser — who else? — clears for Bournemouth.

Yellow card for Can for a high challenge on Fraser.

Liverpool corner. Five minutes to be added.

Close! Lovren heads down for Origi, who volleys just over.

Lallana shoots wide from 20 yards out.

The moment Bournemouth got back on level terms…

Goal! Bournemouth 4 Liverpool 3 (Nathan Ake, 90)

UNBELIEVABLE! In the third minute of added time, Cook’s shot from distance is spilled by Karius and Ake reacts quickest to put the hosts in front.

Lovren’s cross is claimed by Boruc and that should do it for Bournemouth.

Full-time: Bournemouth 4 Liverpool 3

What an amazing game. Bournemouth’s first ever win against Liverpool ends Jurgen Klopp’s side’s 15-game unbeaten run. That moves Bournemouth back into the top half while Liverpool remain four points off leaders Chelsea.
