BOHEMIANS HAVE COMPLETED two important pieces of business in relation to their goalkeeping department for 2018.
Colin McCabe has signed a one-year contract extension to remain at Dalymount Park, while Chris Bennion will join the club as goalkeeping coach.

McCabe signed for Bohs back in August, having been released by Celtic after spending four years with the Scottish club.
The 20-year-old Cavan native was unable to make a first-team breakthrough at Parkhead but he did play 27 times while on loan at Stenhousemuir.
McCabe, who represented Ireland at U19 level, provided back-up to Bohs’ first-choice stopper Shane Supple but he was given a chance to impress in their final game of the 2017 season, starting in a 3-1 Premier Division win against Finn Harps last month.
McCabe’s re-signing brings to 18 the number of players under contract with the Gypsies for next year: Oscar Brennan, Dan Byrne, Dan Casey, Dinny Corcoran, Rob Cornwall, Jamie Hamilton, Paddy Kavanagh, Paddy Kirk, JJ Lunney, Cristian Magerusan, Colin McCabe, Eoghan Morgan, Derek Pender, Fuad Sule, Shane Supple, Warren O’Hora, Keith Ward and John Ross Wilson.
After most recently working as goalkeeping coach with Drogheda United, Bennion joins Keith Long’s backroom staff for 2018. The 37-year-old Scot had a distinguished playing career in the League of Ireland — most notably at Dundalk — before retiring in 2014 after a spell at Longford Town.
