POPULAR FOOTBALL YOUTUBE channel Copa 90 visited the recent SSE Airtricity League Premier Division meeting between Bohemians and Shamrock Rovers at Dalymount Park.
As part of its Derby Days series, presenter Eli Mengem spoke with staff, players and fans of both clubs to get a feel of the biggest rivalry in Irish football, before heading along to the game itself.

“Before I came out here, if you told me I would experience my most exhilarating moment in a derby, where half of them are just part-time workers, in a league that most people in Ireland don’t even watch, I would have told you to get out of here,” he says after the final whistle. ”But I did.
“Today is about two things – It’s about the red and black who now run Dublin until the next game. But more importantly, it’s about local football. If those scenes don’t convince you, especially Irish football fans, to support your local team, I don’t know what will.
Because you won’t get that in one of those giant stadiums on a second or third tier. You get that supporting your local football team, especially at a derby.
