Toulouse's last-minute conversion was blocked down in front of the posts and it cost them the win

Scrum-half Sebastien Bezy was left red-faced at the final whistle.

THAT WASN’T IN the script.

You’re trailing by five, it’s the last play of the game and when Kiwi Luke McAlister touches down under the posts the Top 14 win is surely in the bag. Wild celebrations have already begun after snatching a near-certain win from the jaws of defeat.

But casual Toulouse scrum-half Sebastien Bezy was left red-faced after his kick to win the game, from right in front of the posts, was brilliantly blocked down by Brive’s Jean-Baptiste Pejoine.

Bezy placed the ball too close to the posts and Pejoine seized his opportunity, timing his run to perfection, to stop the ball going between the posts and secure a draw for Brive.

It was the second successive week that the France international had missed a crucial conversion with the last kick of the match; last week his kick went wide as Montpellier secured a 31-29 victory.
