Ridiculous one-handed TD grab from Hopkins ends Bengals' unbeaten run

Cincinnati’s brilliant 2015 season came to a crashing halt last night.

AND THEN THERE were two.

The New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers are the only undefeated teams remaining in the NFL following the Cincinnati Bengals’ shock 10-6 loss to the Houston Texans last night.

The Bengals came into week ten averaging 28.6 points per game but struggled on offence, putting up just six points against a Texans defence conceding an average of 25.6 before last night.

However, for the second successive game, Bill O’Brien’s team held their opponents to just six points.

Even more surprising was the fact the Texans were led to the victory by TJ Yates who only joined the team on 28 October. The quarterback came into the game after Brian Hoyer sustained a concussion.

Yates only completed five of 11 pass attempts but one of them — a 22-yard pass to DeAndre Hopkins in the fourth quarter — was enough to secure the win.

The loss denies the NFL it’s first ever trio of 9-0 teams. The Texans move to 4-5, tied for first place in the AFC North with the Indianapolis Colts.
