A 12-DAY MEDIA tour to promote UFC 189 ended in Dublin this week, as Conor McGregor and champion Jose Aldo finally went their separate ways to begin preparations for their UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) featherweight world title bout in Las Vegas on 11 July.
As expected, the tour ended with quite a crescendo here in Ireland, as a raucous crowd of approximately 3,000 fans crammed into the Convention Centre to witness the latest round of posturing between the two bitter rivals.
The UFC’s ‘Embedded’ series has captured some great behind-the-scenes footage over the course of the 12 days, and the final episode makes for essential viewing.
