Thierry Henry was on BBC last night and had the mick taken out of him over THAT incident

They couldn’t not bring it up.

IT WAS INEVITABLE really.

With Thierry Henry on the BBC panel for Sunday’s Euro 2016 coverage, Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer and Rio Ferdinand didn’t miss a trick by cornering the former French striker.

As they looked back on the host’s win over Ireland earlier in the day, Shearer felt it was the right decision by the referee to award Martin O’Neill’s side an early penalty – even more so after a certain incident in 2009.

It put Henry in a slightly awkward situation as his colleagues made fun of the most infamous moment of his career.

Sure it’s all fun and games now, isn’t it?
