Bayern's training ground game of possession piggy in the middle will leave you in a trance

Tiki-taka at its finest.

IT’S ALMOST TOO easy for Bayern in the Bundesliga, isn’t it? Granted, their lead is ten points, so it’s not astronomical, but in recent seasons they seem to have been able to wrap up the title in the first two or three weeks.

Jupp Heynckes did great work with the team but they have become even more accurate in the last two years under the man who started the audacious trend of wearing a blazer over a jumper.

Pep Guardiola’s success as a coach has been built around a fiercely quick possession based game, and this video from Bayern training shows just how sharp his players’ footwork is.

The best part of that video is that every few seconds the ultra-sophisticated passing is interrupted by Dante wellying the ball.

Also, Xabi Alonso seems to be a perfect fit with Pep. Not only are they both unbelievably slick individuals but the Spanish maestro has been putting up ridiculous passing stats throughout this season.

Hopefully they draw Barcelona in the Champions League semi-final and we get a footballing feast between the two form teams in Europe.
