WHEN GLOUCESTER’S GAME with Connacht kicks off tonight, the best club rugby weekend of the year will be officially underway. The biggest game for Irish rugby takes place at the Aviva tomorrow when Leinster host Bath, and the visitors have named a very strong side for the clash.

Mike Ford has a backline full of speedsters from Kyle Eastmond and Jonathan Joseph in the centre to Anthony Watson at fullback. And with George Ford at ten, they boast one of the in-form out-halves in Europe at the moment.

Their pack is strong too, and the performance of openside Francois Louw could have a big say on the outcome, with the Springbok being an expert at poaching possession.

Peter Stringer will return to the Aviva Stadium, as he has been selected on the bench alongside former Rugby League superstar Slammin’ Sam Burgess.

We also spoke to Bath captain and second row Stuart Hooper earlier in the week about his side’s attacking prowess.
