Barca youth team go from back-to-front to score sublime goal in 17 seconds

This is how football should be played.

WITH GRADUATES SUCH as Andres Iniesta, Cesc Fabregas and Lionel Messi, Barcelona’s ‘Las Masia’ academy is world renowned – and the conveyor belt of talent shows no sign of slowing down.

The La Liga club have uploaded this video of one of the academy’s ‘Cadete’ sides to their YouTube channel.

It shows the Barca youth team working the ball from one end of the pitch to the other in 17 seconds before Miguelete Ramirez applies the finishing touch.

The goal, scored against La Floresta, was scored by Cadete B, who have won all 11 games this season, scored 57 goals and conceded just six.

What’s even more striking is the resemblance to the Barcelona first team. It could easily be Iniesta to Pique, who finds Lionel Messi between the lines. It’s then worked out to Neymar on the left flank for Luis Suarez to slot home in the centre.

The beautiful game, made simple.
