Balotelli has struggled since joining Liverpool.

'Still working hard' - Balotelli trains with Liverpool kids

The Italian striker, who spent last season on loan with Serie A giants Milan, is poised to leave the Reds this summer.

MARIO BALOTELLI HAS reacted positively to being forced to train with Liverpool’s second string, posting an upbeat Instagram message on Monday.

Jurgen Klopp’s first-team squad are currently in California ahead of games against Chelsea, AC Milan and Roma in the United States but Balotelli is not in the travelling party, with Jurgen Klopp confirming that the Italy international does not feature in his plans for the 2016-17 season.

The Italian striker did not feature for the club’s U23 team as they beat Rhyl on Sunday, but has shared an image on social media of himself with the youth squad.

“Still working hard with the reserve team,” he wrote. “Top quality session today with top players. #Respect.”

Balotelli scored just three goals in all competitions during a loan spell with Milan last season.

‘I always put the clubs needs first’…. Yeah Jose giviving an over-the-hill Sanchez £500,000 a week instead of being bothered to develop Martial is an example of how you respect your clubs.

@Stanley Baggins: Would that deal be done between the players agent and the club? Doubt the manager says how much he can earn if the club are willing to pay what the agent asks.

He’s the biggest attention seeker the game has ever known. The premier league is a better place without him and his Sam Allardyce football
