GARETH BALE’S AGENT has denied making a jibe about Cristiano Ronaldo’s decision to design and model his own range of underwear.

But, he insists the quotes attributed to him have been invented.
“I don’t comment on stupid and uninformed journalism,” he protested on Spanish radio station Onda Cero .
“It’s a ridiculous, disgusting article. It was done by bad journalists. It was made up by a very, very bad journalist.”
It’s not the first time Barnett has propelled Bale into the middle of a storm in the Spanish press.
Before a Champions League game against Juventus last season he complained that the Welshman’s team-mates do not pass the ball to him enough.
It forced then Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti to state that the 65-year-old “talks too much”.
Bale will hope it doesn’t have any affect on his performances on the pitch.
After helping Wales qualify for Euro 2016, he returns to domestic action this weekend as Rafa Benitez’s side welcome Levante to the Santiago Bernabeu.
