Play has not restarted since the goal as Swansea forward Gomis is receiving treatment from both medical teams.
The game was delayed for over five minutes as Gomis was treated by both medical teams, who administered oxygen.
BBC report that the 29-year-old was “conscious and speaking” as he was substituted and brought for further medical attention.
Gomis has a history of losing consciousness and fainted twice in the space of a week in 2009 while at Lyon.
