THE TV JUDGING panels were split when it came to choosing a man-of-the-match in last night’s All-Ireland senior hurling semi-final replay.

He may have ended up on the losing side but Waterford’s Austin Gleeson shot 1-2 and was rewarded by the Sky Sports GAA judging panel for his exploits after another terrific display from the Mount Sion man.

On RTÉ, the vote of The Saturday Game panel went to Kilkenny’s Colin Fennelly. A menace throughout at full-forward, he rattled the Waterford net twice in the opening stages of the game.
