TWITTER Q&AS ARE notoriously unpredictable so we’re sure RTÉ knew exactly what they were letting themselves in for when they asked viewers to send in questions for Ted Walsh during Monday’s coverage of the Galway Races.

Ted is always up for a bit of national television craic and along with co-presenter Robert Hall, he embraced the mayhem.

We discovered some vital information, like the fact that Ted doesn’t keep his ketchup in the fridge or the press because he doesn’t actually like ketchup – he’s more of a relish man.

And he’s as stumped as the rest of us by the fact that kamikaze pilots wear helmets.
