ARSENAL’S ALEXANDRE LACAZETTE got his Premier League career off to the perfect start against Leicester at the Emirates this evening.
The striker, who the Gunners signed from Lyon for an initial fee of €53 million in the summer, finished clinically to put the hosts ahead after two minutes, expertly heading home Mohamed Elneny’s cross.

However, Arsenal’s fans’ joy was short-lived. Shinji Okazaki scored another header to make it 1-1 three minutes later, as the Japanese forward latched on to a Harry Maguire flick-on from Marc Albrighton’s cross.
Jamie Vardy inflicted further misery on the Gunners just before the half-hour mark, as he converted another well-executed Albrighton delivery.
Danny Welbeck then brought Arsenal back level on the brink of half-time. The England international made no mistake with his composed finish, after being played through by Sead Kolasinac
And the goals did not stop after the break. Leicester re-took the lead on 58 minutes, with Vardy heading home Riyad Mahrez’s corner.
Nevertheless, it was Arsenal who emerged victorious, as two goals in the final 10 minutes from substitutes Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud sealed a dramatic victory for the Gunners.
