Some Arsenal fans went to exceptional lengths to protest against Arsene Wenger today

We certainly can’t accuse certain supporters of not being creative with their ideas.

ONCE AGAIN, THERE was a sizeable group of Arsenal fans protesting against Arsene Wenger before today’s Premier League clash against Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium.

But amongst all of the banners and the placards and the signs, there was one standout and pretty unique medium through which certain fans’ vented their displeasure: a van.

Located close to the stadium on Sunday, it featured a quote from club CEO Ivan Gazidis from 2011, in which he stated Wenger should be held accountable by the Arsenal supporters.

On the other side, it used a quote from Wenger himself to bemoan the team’s recent performances in the Champions League.

Meanwhile, on the back, it had one final message:

“In Arsene we rust”.
