Hello everyone, how’s things? There was some great Premier League action earlier and it is not over as we are bringing you live coverage of this evening’s North London derby. First of all, here are the two teams.

The two teams had contrasting league experiences last weekend, with Arsenal winning 3-0 at Aston Villa and Spurs losing 1-0 at home to West Brom.

As a result, Arsenal are 4/5 to win, Spurs are 19/5 and the draw is 14/5.

To whet the appetite moments before kick-off, here are highlights from the cracking 4-4 draw between the sides in 2008.

So who do people think will do it this evening? Do Spurs have any chance after their last couple of performances?

Already, Lee Dixon has circled Welbeck and Ozil. He doesn’t elaborate on the reason for the circles though.

Nothing has happened so far. Absolutely nothing.

The Arsenal Twitter account and I must be watching two different games at the moment. I certainly wouldn’t use that many exclamation points.

We finally get a chance as Wilshere slips in Ramsey on the right hand side but his cross is well held by Lloris.

Adebayor gets roundly booed with his first touch and promptly gives the ball away.

Lamela is given a warning after a hard foul on Gibbs.

Chambers makes a great run down the right wing and wins a free after a tangle of legs with Danny Rose. A little lucky to get a free though.

Ozil’s free is headed out to Wilshere who has his shot blocked. Wilshere’s touch let him down as he could have created a bit more space for himself.

Capoue had options to his left and right but his pass is a poor one and Arsenal clear. Adebayor was in acres of space on the left if a better ball had been played.

Oxlade-Chamberlain tries to take on Danny Rose on the right wing but Rose defends well and wins a goal kick.

Welbeck cruises past Vertonghen with some great skill but he gets isolated in the box and Kaboul blocks his shot out for a corner.

Spurs break from the corner and Eriksen plays in Chadli who backheels the ball away carelessly. A big waste from the Belgian because Spurs had numbers forward.

Spurs have broken again from deep but once again the final ball is poor. Both sides have threatened but there has been no major chances yet.

Must say, it has been a fairly underwhelming opening 20 minutes. Both sides lacking that killer pass in attack.

Oxlade-Chamberlain gets all the way to the end-line before crossing for Welbeck, who cuts inside and drives a low shot that Lloris holds. Looked like there was a deflection on it too.

Jack Wilshere hacks the legs off Mason and Michael Oliver gives him a yellow. It was a pretty reckless tackle from the midfielder.

Ramsey’s deflected cross almost sneaks under the crossbar but Lloris just about palms it away.

Gibbs whips in a nice cross but there isn’t a single Arsenal player in the box. It has been that kind of game.

Welbeck lays the ball off to Wilshere who hits the ball straight at Lloris.

Lamela gets a yellow card after a late tackle on Gibbs.

Mikel Arteta is going off with an injury and Mathieu Flamini is coming on.

Chadli played in Ryan Mason down the left but his cross goes straight to Szczesny. Adebayor is livid because he was standing unmarked in the six-yard box. Another good break from Spurs though.

Wilshere goes on a mazy run into the box and goes down after a Danny Rose tackle. Oliver says play on but he stays down and it looks like he could have injured his ankle.

Wilshere comes back on and the Arsenal fans erupt. Be interesting to see if he can continue.

The camera pans to Sanchez on the bench. Surely Wenger will bring him on at half-time or soon after? They have struggled to create much, but so have Spurs, in fairness.

Lee Dixon says the game is flat and lacks zip. He’s not wrong.

NBC Sports are persisting with the strange practice of bird’s eye shots with players circled without ever mentioning that player.

Adebayor tries to dance past Mertesacker on the edge of the box but the German wins the ball.

Spurs have just had a really nice spell. First, Adebayor is played through on goal but lets the ball run away from him. Then Chadli has a low cross deflected away for a corner.

Spurs are pressing more and more. Mason slips Eriksen in excellently down the left and Gibbs puts it out for a corner.

Szczesny has to save smartly after Mertesacker accidentally heads towards his own goal.

Spurs have dominated the last ten minutes and are spraying the ball around well. Lamela has been very prominent.

Lloris just about keeps out Ramsey’s low drive.

Chadli is put clean through but drags his shot horribly wide from the left. The game is picking up now.

Now Aaron Ramsey goes down for Arsenal. Looks like a leg injury.

Santi Cazorla is coming on for Aaron Ramsey. Disaster for Arsenal as Wilshere is also carrying an injury.

Szczesny makes a great save an Adebayor half-volley. Lovely pass to Lamela in the build-up.

HT Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham

A fairly poor half that has only sprung to live once or twice. Arsenal have lost Ramsey and Arteta to injury and Wilshere might need to go off too. Spurs have had the best chances and Adebayor has looked dangerous.

Arsenal are now 5/4 to win, Spurs are 10/3 and the draw is 8/5.

Are Spurs worth a fiver after that first half?

The second half is about to start here. Let’s hope it is a good deal better than the first 45.

Adebayor is 15/2 to be first goalscorer. Just saying.

We are off here and Spurs already have a corner.

Cazorla has his first moment in attack, and his low cross is cleared by Kaboul.

From the corner, Gibbs crosses the ball miles over the ball.

Cazorla has already shown some nice touches. Would Arsenal fans like to see him in the starting side?

Lloris makes a great save from Ozil after Wilshere slides the German in with a lovely one touch pass.

So it looks like Kevin Kilbane was at Liverpool vs Everton earlier and is now at the Emirates. All right for some!

Arsenal have been dominating so far this half and have been whipping in a lot of crosses. Not a David Moyes number, but a healthy amount nonetheless.

After an Arsenal corner the ball bounces out of the box to Mathieu Flamini but his shot dribbles wide.

Eriksen wins the ball from Flamini and rolls it to Chadli on the right and the Belgian slips the ball across Szczesny and into the far corner.

A powerful Per Mertesacker header looks to be over the line but Michael Oliver checks his watch and the technology says it wasn’t over.

It was a great save from Lloris to keep the header out as well. Be interesting to see a real-time replay again though. The replay that said ‘ NO GOAL’ didn’t show what happened after the ball trickled on after the initial save.

Aaron Lennon is coming on for Eriksen.

And Sanchez will replace Wilshere.

They haven’t showed us a replay of the Mertesacker header in real-time yet, and I suspect it was because the ball did cross the line. Technology!!!

Ozil put Sanchez in a very good position on the left-hand side of the box but his touch is awful and Arsenal luckily get a corner.

Aaron Lennon has just been booked after lunging in on Per Mertesacker.

And moments later Adebayor also gets a yellow.

Arsenal are having a lot of possession but besides the Mertesacker header, they haven’t come that close.

Now Mason gets booked after clattering into Ozil. Spurs have been doing a lot of fouling in the last few minutes.

After a spell of pressure around the Spurs box, Chambers unleashes a curling volley that just goes over Lloris’ crossbar.

Cazorla’s shot is deflected past Danny Welbeck (who air-kicked the ball in the six-yard box) to Oxlade-Chamberlain, who slams the ball into the roof of the net.

Arsenal are gunning (pun intended) for the winner and Gibbs’ cross has just been knocked out for a corner by Kaboul.

Arsenal have another corner. The pressure is building.

The corner from Ozil was brutal and Lloris claims the tame chip with ease.

Anyone having a late bet?

Oxlade-Chamberlain almost blows past Danny Rose but the defender stretches out and plays the ball off the winger for a goal kick. Rose has been very solid throughout.

Ten minutes to go here, can either side find a winner or will it end 1-1?

Arsenal have a free in a very dangerous area after Chambers gets fouled by Lennon outside the box.

Spurs deal with the free but Arsenal are in possession once again.

The pace has left the game slightly in the last few minutes. Arsenal still pressing but not with the same verve as ten minutes ago.

The ball is whipped out to Chambers on the right, but the defender lets the ball get away from him and it goes over the touchline. The game is petering out a bit.

Five minutes of added time now, but it doesn’t look like either side will score. Sanchez goes down looking for a cheap free but Oliver says play on.

Arsenal have a corner after Dier heads over.

The ball is being played between the boxes at the moment. Sanchez has had some possession near the Spurs box but has been defended well.

Vertonghen goes on a run up field but gets dispossessed with a Spurs man either side of him. Arsenal break and have a corner with a minute left.

FT Arsenal 1-1 Spurs

Hugo Lloris gathers a long hopeful ball into the box and that is it. In truth, the game was a poor one and despite two second half goals, it never really sprung into life.

Spurs battled well and definitely deserved a point, and Pochettino will be pleased with how his side bounced back from the defeat to West Brom.

It is another disappointing home performance for Arsenal though, and Arsene Wenger would have been hoping for more from his side.
