So Monaghan’s victory means that if Kildare win here, it will be Dublin v Monaghan and Tyrone v Kildare next Saturday. A win for Armagh will mean we’ll have a quarter-final draw on Monday.

What a boost for Armagh! Captain Rory Grugan created the goal, jinking in from the left wing and offloading to Murnin. His shot was partially blocked by Mick O’Grady but the ball spun away from Donnellan in goal, allowing Murnin to race in and boot the ball over the line.
