Rodgers, son of Liverpool manager Brendan, scored this sublime trick free-kick in Swindon’s 2-2 draw with Leyton Orient on Sunday.
The midfielder flicked the ball up for himself before volleying past Alex Cisak in style.
Here’s the Le Tissier original. Not to make you feel old, but this happened in February 1994.
Rodgers was 13 months old at the time so presumably he’s been raiding Dad’s VHS collection:
