Happy Christmas! Anthony Joshua sold 18,000 tickets today in just six hours

As far as Joshua’s concerned, if you snooze, you lose.

INSIDE AND OUTSIDE the ring, Anthony Joshua is taking care of business at a ferocious pace.

Fresh from his lightning KO of Gary Cornish last weekend, the rising heavyweight star is set to face old amateur foe Dillian Whyte for the vacant British title in December.

And such is the buzz around Joshua’s prospects that tickets for the showdown in London’s O2 Arena sold out within six hours of going on sale today.

Promoter Eddie Hearn confirmed that 12,000 tickets were snapped up in just over two hours of sales, and the rest of the 18,000 allocation was gone shortly afterwards.

Joshua will also defend the Commonwealth title he won against Cornish with the 13th straight KO win of his undefeated career.

Andy Lee could have a very interesting fight on the horizon
