Another great escape on for Big Sam as win takes Crystal Palace out of relegation zone

Middlesbrough replaced them in the bottom three following their 2-0 loss at Stoke this afternoon.

CRYSTAL PALACE BOOSTED their Premier League survival hopes today with a 2-0 win over West Brom.

Goals from Wilfried Zaha and Andros Townsend ensured Sam Allardyce’s side secured the three points needed to escape the relegation zone for now.

Middlesbrough replaced them in the bottom three following their 2-0 loss at Stoke this afternoon.

Swansea also pulled five points clear of the bottom three after Fernando Llorente’s 92nd-minute header secured a precious 3-2 win against Burnley, while Southampton won 4-3 at Watford.

Premier League 3pm results:

Leicester 3-1 Hull

Stoke 2-0 Middlesbrough

Swansea 3-2 Burnley

Watford 3-4 Southampton

West Brom 0-2 Crystal Palace
