LIVERPOOL FANS STAGED a walkout protest in the 77th minute of today’s Premier League clash with Sunderland.

Sections of the ground swiftly emptied as the protest at the recent decision to increase ticket prices went ahead as planned.

Liverpool chief executive Ian Ayre previously urged fans to “look at facts” amid increasing supporter disillusionment at the exorbitant prices that many feel they are being made to pay for attending games at Anfield.

There was drama on the pitch too, as the concession of two late goals saw Liverpool held to a point by lowly Sunderland.
