Man United's on-loan forward hits fabulous volley in La Liga

Brazilian Andreas Pereira earned Granada a 1-0 win over Las Palmas last night.

MANCHESTER UNITED FARMED Brazilian youngster Andreas Pereira out to Granada at the start of the season and the 21-year-old has been getting regular game time in La Liga.

They faced Las Palmas at home last night and Pereira superbly bagged the decisive goal on 17 minutes. Setting himself up his first touch, he struck a dipping volley past goalkeeper Javi Varas.

He’s unlikely to get opportunities at big-spending United, but that strike (his second league goal of the season) will do his slim chances no harm.

Yes, he has done well, but I think he can only truly be judged next year. The advantage of only playing once a week was incredible. With that, and not sustaining any major injuries, no team in the league made less changes to its starting 11 week in week out. So, luck definitely had its part to play.

@William Boland: still done amazing especially if they win FA cup. I think not playing Europe did help but clubs like Liverpool didn’t play in Europe and they didn’t treat
