Ander Herrera rubbishes rumours of discontent at Manchester United

The Spaniard says he’s ‘very happy’ at the club following newspaper speculation this morning.

ANDER HERRERA HAS reiterated that he’s ‘very happy’ at Manchester United, despite newspaper reports on Tuesday morning speculating he was seeking showdown talks with manager Louis van Gaal.

The Daily Star claimed the Spaniard has grown increasingly weary by his lack of a continuous first-team place but the former Athletic Club midfielder has taken to social media to distance himself from the speculation.

Attaching a screen-grab of an interview he gave prior to United’s Champions League clash with PSV last week, in which he stated ‘I don’t want this dream to finish’, Herrera’s message to United fans was short and to the point.

A firm favourite of United supporters, the 26-year-old had to wait for his opportunities this term but has impressed whenever called upon by van Gaal, scoring three times all competitions and assisting on two more.

But Herrera has being overlooked recently as Wayne Rooney continues to be selected in the ‘number 10′ position.
