THE DRAW FOR Round 4B of the All-Ireland senior football championship qualifiers was made this morning, with Kildare set to face Armagh as they look to keep their campaign alive through the backdoor.

After Sunday’s defeat to Dublin in the Leinster senior football championship final, Cian O’Neill’s Lilywhites will go head-to-head with Armagh, who saw off Tipperary at the weekend, for a place in the quarter-finals.

The game will see Kildare come up against their former manager Kieran McGeeney, who is now in charge of his native county.

The other tie of the round will see Monaghan and beaten Ulster senior football championship finalists Down renew battle lines.

The GAA have announced the Round 4B ties will be played as part of a Croke Park double-header on Saturday 29 July.
