Teams will be drawn from one bowl only and the venues will be at the discretion of the GAA’s CCCC who will provide confirmation of venues, times and dates for the fixtures following a meeting on Monday afternoon.
Last year this stage of the championship saw a double-header in Thurles when Dublin defeated Limerick and Cork saw off Clare.
Semple Stadium is the most likely neutral venue but if Cork are drawn against Limerick, that game may be paired up with the All-Ireland football qualifier involving the two counties which is pencilled in for next Saturday.
The 2012 All-Ireland senior hurling championship saw these four counties involved in a mid-July qualifier double-header in Thurles. On that occasion Cork overcame Wexford by 3-24 to 2-17 while Limerick ran out 3-18 to 1-20 victors over Clare.
