Two glamour games in store after All-Ireland hurling qualifier draw

The draw was made this morning.

TWO GLAMOUR GAMES are in store after the draw for Round 2 of the All-Ireland senior hurling qualifiers today.

Cork and Clare will face off in one match while Dublin will take on Limerick in the other showdown.

The games are set to take place next Saturday 11 July with details surrounding times and venues to be confirmed later today.

Cork and Clare will renew acquaintances for the fifth time in championship in the last three seasons after their meetings in the 2013 Munster semi-final, 2013 All-Ireland final draw and replay along with the 2014 Munster semi-final.

Cork saw off Wexford on Saturday by 2-22 to 0-20 while Clare defeated Offaly 3-26 to 0-15.

The clash of Dublin and Limerick will be their first meeting in championship since the 2011 All-Ireland quarter-final which Dublin emerged victorious in.

Dublin beat Laois 4-17 to 0-19 on Saturday while Limerick were 4-15 to 1-12 winners over Westmeath in Mullingar yesterday.
